Accommodation & Facilities
Tabley house is an 18th Century Palladian House set in the midst of acres of beautiful parkland in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
Accommodation
The accommodation is of an excellent standard. All rooms have en-suite facilities. The majority of rooms are single, however a small number of shared rooms are available. Each room is comfortably furnished and residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personal bric-a-brac.
Medical Services
Tabley House has a local General Practitioner who visits regularly. Residents are treated for medical conditions under the NHS although private care can be arranged, if preferred. Regular visits are also made by the dentist, chiropodist and physiotherapist.
Dining
We offer a varied daily menu with arrangements for special diets. Meals can be taken in our spacious dining room with waitress service or room tray service is also offered if preferred. Click here for more information.
Recreation
Our Activities Co-ordinator will ensure that residents' hobbies and interests are continued. We also have regular outings in our own mini-bus. More information on our activities and events.
Visitors
Relatives and friends are certainly encouraged to join in all aspects of the care and social life of the residents with unrestricted visiting.
Housekeeping
All cleaning of rooms and en-suite are undertaken daily. We also launder bed linen and personal clothes.
Television
Each room at Tabley is furnished with a remote control colour television. Tabley House provides the television licence fee. Residents are, however, welcome to bring their own television set if they prefer.
Telephone
A house telephone is provided in each room.
Newspapers
Newspapers are delivered daily.
Alarm Call System
This portable system is available to all residents so that assistance can be called immediately.
Hairdresser
A hairdresser visits twice weekly. Appointments can be arranged with Sue on Tuesday mornings or Pat on Thursday afternoons.
Mobile Shop
Mary, our Activities Coordinator, brings around a mobile shop with sweets and toiletries on a daily basis.
We, at Tabley, recognise the difficult decisions that families and friends have to make regarding the longer term care of loved ones. Prospective residents are, therefore, welcome to try a short stay before making a commitment.
