Elderly care options
At Tabley we recognise that everyone's needs are unique so we offer a planned programme which will reflect individuality, privacy, dignity and choice. Our highly skilled staff are dedicated to the care and comfort of our elderly residents.
The high standard of care is supplemented with an extensive menu and a wide range of regular activities.
The emphasis is on offering everyone an improved quality of life combined with the highest possible standards of 24-hour care provided by dedicated, trained staff.
Nursing and Residential Care
Our residential facilities are superb. All rooms whether single or shared, have full ensuite facilities. There are several large comfortable lounges, some with TV and video, others allowing for quiet time and conversation with visitors. We provide 24 hour qualified nursing care. Residents registered with the Toft Road surgery will benefit from a weekly GP visit at the home.
Palliative Care
Our palliative care aims to maintain and where possible, improve quality of life for patients and their families. During this difficult and upsetting time, our dedicated staff will ensure the utmost dignity, respect and care is given to the patient and their family.
At Tabley we use the Integrated Pathway for Care of the Dying - a nationally recognised Gold Standard Mutlidisciplinary Tool when caring for residents diagnosed in the terminal stages of care.
Dementia Care
At Tabley we have a wing of the building dedicated to the Elderly Mentally Infirm, including those suffering from dementia. Our staff are trained to deal with the specialist care of dementia as well as Alzheimer's.
Post-operative and Convalescent Care
Our exceptional care and facilities are suitable for people who have been discharged from hospital but who have not yet recovered sufficiently to return home.
Short Stay Respite Care
Our respite care gives home based carers the opportunity to take scheduled holidays or breaks throughout the year. Carers can relax with peace of mind knowing that their relative or patient is in a safe and homely environment with 24-hour care available. Respite stays also build a relationship between the individual, the carer, the home and staff, that can be beneficial should a more permanent stay at the home become necessary at some point in the future.
Flexible Day Care Packages
At Tabley House we offer flexible day care packages for the frail elderly and elderly mentally infirm, allowing them to continue living at home while providing support to their families. Our packages are designed to respond to personal needs - as well as those of carers. Sessions can be organised on an entirely flexible basis - half-day or whole day, weekly or fortnightly depending on your requirements.
Bathing Service
As part of our flexible day care provision we also provide a bathing service. Our modern hydro-bath allows the bather to enjoy a relaxing, full depth bath with the minimum of effort, safe in the knowledge that they are held securely at all times.
