Does the Home have a care plan or adopt a particular philosophy?

A planned programme of care will be formulated, reflecting individuality, privacy, dignity and choice with highly skilled staff.

Does the Home offer any special activities that will interest your loved one?

Residents at Tabley are offered a regular choice of activities. In any one month, typical activities would include local outings in the minibus in-house entertainment, craft demonstrations, Holy Communion services, talks and a range of in-house activities including bridge, card and board games, bingo, quizzes, crosswords, reminiscing, wine tasting, croquet, bowls and chairobics. Able-bodied residents can also go on individual or group trips to the local shops and the library. Our Activities Co-ordinator will ensure that residents' hobbies and interests are continued.

What are the visiting hours?

At Tabley we believe that regular visits by friends and family are the best way to make sure that your loved one does well. Therefore, visitors are welcome at all convenient times, whether to spend time at Tabley or to take their friend or relative out for the day.

Are residents religious denominations and cultural needs catered for?

Tabley House offers monthly Holy Communion services and trips to other local church services can be arranged on request.

Are special dietary requirements catered for?

We offer a varied daily menu with arrangements for special diets.

Is there a safe garden to walk in?

Tabley is blessed with acres of beautiful parkland within which there are beautiful expansive gardens with patio seating.

Are dental treatments and chiropody available?

Chiropody and dental treatments are available on request.

Are single rooms available with en-suite facilities?

All rooms at Tabley House have en-suite facilities and the majority of rooms are single although a small number of shared rooms are available.

Is there access for wheelchairs or walking frames?

Tabley House is a large country house with high ceilings and generous room sizes which facilitate access for wheelchairs and walking frames.

Are the toilets and baths suitably adapted?

All the toilets, baths and showers at Tabley House are specially adapted.

Can you take the person's own furniture and other possessions?

Each bedroom at Tabley House has its own character and is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. However, residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personal bric-a-brac to give a home-from-home feel.
