Residents enjoy trip to see the Blackpool Illuminations

On Thursday 3rd November our residents were finally able to set off to visit Blackpool's famous lights. The trip was originally planned for Tuesday 1st but due to the motorway being shut had to be rescheduled. There was a fish and chip supper en route at the highly acclaimed 'Whelans' of Lytham; followed by a slow bus ride through Blackpool passing the lights. There was lots of singing and merriment throughout the journey and all who took part reported that they had an excellent evening.
