23 February 2012: Residents enjoy a cake baking session
At Tabley we've recently introduced cake baking sessions. During the sessions residents, activity staff and chefs thoroughly enjoy themselves - although it is debatable how much icing goes on the cakes or how much gets eaten off sticky fingers! These sessions create lots of hilarity and great cake baking memories.
15 December 2011: Christmas comes to Tabley
Although Christmas is still 10 days away residents of Tabley House are already in the festive spirit. Recent activities have included residents decorating our nursing home, doing their Christmas shopping and being entertained by Knutsford Scouts singing carols.
15 December 2011: Country Customs
At the end of November Mr Raymond Rush came to Tabley House to entertain everyone with his tales of Country Customs. The residents and staff were astounded by his amazing knowledge on customs and the origins of local sayings, etc.
09 November 2011: Residents enjoy trip to see the Blackpool Illuminations
On Thursday 3rd November our residents enjoyed an evening out to see Blackpool's famous lights. On the way they were also able to enjoy a fish and chip supper at the highly acclaimed 'Whelans' of Lytham.
23 September 2011: Residents entertained by Celtic Toes and Janet Oilier and Co
Tabley residents were recently entertained by children's Irish dancing group 'Celtic Toes', as well as 'Janet Oilier and Co' a group that perform old show tunes.
10 June 2011: Tabley residents and staff enjoy impromptu barbecue
After weeks of inclement weather the sun suddenly shone on Friday 3rd June – staff and residents grabbed the opportunity to quickly organised a lunch time barbeque to celebrate.
28 February 2011: Positive outcomes from the latest resident surveys
The results have come in from two surveys that our residents have recently completed and the results are extremely positive.
25 February 2011: Home made quiz goes down a treat
NVQ Care Assistant Sue Edwards recently hosted a 'play your cards right' quiz with residents, visitors and colleagues.
